Titus 2 Wives is an organization founded by Katrina A. Anderson to teach wives to be the supporting rib alongside their husbands as God intended for them to be. The purpose of the organization is to encourage wives to become intentional keepers of their home and to attend upon the Lord without distraction. This purpose derives from the book of Titus 2:3-5 and I Corinthians 7:35. The book of Titus 2:3-5 depicts the qualities of a godly wife as well as encourage wives to love and obey their husbands so that the word of God not be blasphemed. In the book of I Corinthians 7:34-35, the Apostle Paul states that it is the unmarried that care about the things of God and how they may please HIM. However, it is the married women that is concerned about how she may please her husband. Paul goes on to say that even wives are to attend upon the Lord without distraction. Our vision is to turn women’s attention to the Lord as the command from God is that wives are to submit unto their own husbands, “as unto the Lord”.
As we know, the lifelong commitment of marriage is not by far an easy journey that is always filled with lollipops and roses. But the weight of a wife can become almost unbearable. Some face unimaginable tragedies, loneliness, infidelity, loss of interest, loss of intimacy, disconnection, unforgiveness, resentment, loss of communication, alcoholism, workaholism, as well as addictions, and this is just to name a few. But when wives learn how to fight the battle, which is on their knees, not only can we see God begin to move in our marriages but we can also have peace and be able to cope with our issues even better while trusting in HIM for our breakthrough. We also promote self care and the wholeness of a woman; spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and nutritiously. Our goal is to serve as a ministry to wives and to teach them how to be overcomers in the face of adversity.
-We believe that the union of marriage is between one man and one woman.
-We believe that a woman was created for the man. (I Corinthians 11:9)
-We believe that wives are to submit to their own husbands as unto the Lord. (Ephesians 5:22)
-We stand against emotional and physical affairs.
-We support wives who take a stand against the enemy’s plan and choose to fight for their marriage.
-We believe that God can mend broken marriages no matter the level of brokenness if they are willing to do the work.
-We believe that husbands can be won over with a quiet and gentle spirit.
-We believe in honoring our covenant vow to God and our husband.
-We believe that God can heal the open wounds of a marriage.
-We believe that God honors the labor of a husband and wife to reconcile.
